In a small village on an almost uninhabited island Mario Ruoppolo is the postman in charge of delivering the mail to one single man. Soon, he gets to know the man for whom he starts feeling great respect and who will be able to change his life. Of course, this man is Pablo Neruda. Close to him, Mario expresses his famous thought: "Poetry does not belong to people who write it, but to people who need it." Just as much as you need to relax, regardless of you being a poet or not. And when you are relaxed, your mind can produce the most beautiful lines. The charming apartment called The Postman has got a 28 m2 surface and it is included in the structure called “La Dolce Vita”, which is situated in the heart of Veli Losinj, near the area of the museum-gallery Kula and the shore. This theme-based 4 star apartment is composed of a fully-equipped kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and a bedroom divided by a wall. The windows of the kitchen overlook the sea. Characterized by a functional and modern exploitation of the spaces, it is particularly suitable for the most demanding tourists and it is the best choice for couples. The common terrace on the ground floor is equipped with garden furniture and BBQ facilities. The apartment, suitable for couples, is included in the structure called “La Dolce Vita” that cannot be reached by car. The peculiarity of the structure is the possibility to use the gym and the sauna, as well as the laundry provided with washing and drying machines. Sports passionates who desire to get to know the nature of our island will be able to use the bicycles at their disposal prior reservation.

The host and staff were amazing. Incredibly friendly and finding a perfect balance between offering help were needed and giving privacy when wanted. Nothing is too much for them and they are very accessible. These people have a special place in my heart.

Great spot right near the waterfront, but far back enough to feel peaceful. Great shared space and the use of bikes was a bonus in the heat. Lovely host.
